When an employee is terminated in Sage HRMS we still need to process their final Sage 100 paycheck in the following pay period. We must wait to transfer the termination from HRMS to Sage 100 to allow the employee to be active in Sage 100 and get their final check. The option to transfer Terminated employees on or after a selected date can transfer terminated employees that may have not yet received their final checks. We must manually control these terminations in Sage 100. This process is error prone, time consuming, and defeats the purpose of using the Link to transfer terminations from HRMS into Sage 100.
The option to only transfer Terminated employees on or after a selected date ignores real world processing requirements for final paycheck processing and is a material flaw in the software design. We need to be able to transfer terminations for employees that are terminated between a starting and ending date for greater control of termination updates in Sage 100. This will allow processing final paychecks in Sage 100, then transferring the desired terminations after processing the payroll for the final paychecks.
