If Payroll status is changed to Terminated, it should use the date from the termination panel, not the Change Effective date (which can get changed for fields other than payroll status). Or, when changing, have it ask you to create a job history record, and ask if you want to use the termination date as the Change Effective date.� Currently payroll status does NOT invoke or write to Job history. **NOTE: It would be good if in all places (benefits, current pay, current job), the Change Effective/Latest Change/Latest Change to Amounts all had a consistent name across the entire HR product (I vote for Change Effective).
