Allow the Hours (normal units) to be zero for employees and enter a flat pay period salary that calculates to annual salary
Some employees are commission only, or are status "Not Employee", and have no need for hours in this field. �Add an additional field for Commission/Draw Employee to this screen that will flag the employee as having no hours/no unit pay rate but still be able to enter a pay period salary flat amount that multiplies by the pay frequency to the Annual Salary. �Allow all fields to be left at zero for any Not Employees (volunteers, interns, etc.) to be captured in the software.
