Stop Employer Deduction when Employee Deduction Reaches Maximum.
Deduction codes should have an option to stop the employer calculation when the employee calculation reaches the annual max. This would be useful for retirement plans that match based on the employee contribution.
This has caused an issue with our processing this year.
I do not understand how under any circumstance if an employee is no longer making a contribution a system would think it should still be making a match.
I can enter the match max, but our match potentially be different for each employee depending on what % they are contributing and what their annual salary is.
Plus, it is a very manual task to watch every employee every week and figure out who is reaching the max amount for the year.
