Sage HRMS Employee Self Service currently allows administrators to hide entire pages, but does not allow control over individual fields within those pages. We would like the ability to selectively hide specific fields while keeping them available in the system when needed.
For example, in the Personal Profile, fields such as Nickname, Salutation, Pager, and Fax are not used by our organization. While these fields may be useful in some environments, displaying them to employees creates confusion and unnecessary questions. Being able to hide these fields would simplify the interface without removing functionality.
Similarly, under Employment → Job, we would like the option to hide fields such as Work Area, Location, Job Code, and Indirect. These fields are not meaningful to employees in our organization and frequently result in questions about what they represent and whether action is required.
This enhancement would:
Reduce employee confusion and support requests
Allow organizations to present a cleaner, more relevant ESS experience
Preserve flexibility by hiding fields without deleting or disabling them system-wide
